CUG Joined Alliance for Talent Exchange and Training in Atomic Energy

On May 21-22, the Sino-foreign nuclear science and technology talent exchange and the inauguration ceremony of the Alliance were held in Harbin. Guided by China Atomic Energy Authority and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, the event was hosted by Harbin Engineering University. Participants included universities and research institutes from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Egypt, as well as domestic institutions. Attendees discussed talent development and green development, witnessing a historic moment for global cooperation on nuclear energy talents.


CUG attended the inauguration and officially became a governing member of the Alliance. Membership in the Alliance marks a key opportunity for CUG to deepen international educational cooperation and implement the Belt and Road Initiative to support regional coordinated development. CUG will work closely with all member institutions to share resources and leverage complementary strengths in the fields of joint research, faculty and student exchanges, and academic communication, building the Alliance into a cradle for talent cultivation, a hub for technological innovation and a bridge for win-win cooperation in the international atomic energy sector.



The Alliance for Talent Exchange and Training in Atomic Energy is a regional, academic and non-profit organization voluntarily formed by universities, research institutions and enterprises engaged in nuclear science and technology.
