International Student Affairs Office | 1.Draft and revise relevant management regulations for international students. 2.Organize orientation, carry out publicity and education on foreign-related laws and regulations, school discipline and rules, and safety knowledge; manage the International Student Union. 3.Coordinate medical insurance for international students, issue various certificates, conduct merit evaluation and award selection, maintain safety and stability, manage religious affairs, handle disciplinary violations and student emergencies. 4.Manage and provide services for foreign-related affairs of international students, such as visa/residence permit procedures, accommodation management and community culture construction. 5.Handle affairs related to Chinese Government Scholarship students, including living allowance distribution, registration and status change at the China Scholarship Council, annual review and extension. 6.Organize social practice and cultural & sports activities for international students, provide employment guidance and services, and build a national conditions education system. 7.Maintain contact with international graduates and coordinate the preparation of overseas international student alumni associations; file and archive international student management information. 8.Conduct ideological and mental health education for international students. 9.Manage international students at the Future City Campus. 10.Other tasks assigned by the college. |
International Student Admission & Program Development Office | 1.Formulate admission measures and implementation rules for long-term and short-term international students in accordance with national admission policies and relevant regulations. 2.Responsible for the application and implementation of various study-in-China education programs. 3.Conduct admission publicity for international students, comprehensively promote various admission programs of the university, produce various admission materials, organize online and offline admission presentations and education exhibitions every year, and promote application and publicity on overseas social media platforms. 4.Conduct admission and enrollment of international students, compile admission catalogs, organize entrance assessments and examinations, produce and submit admission materials, and conduct statistics, analysis, submission and summary of freshmen enrollment information. 5.Maintain and manage the English admission website, student application system and admission review system; update admission information on various national-level admission information platforms. 6.Promote the construction of overseas high-quality student sources bases for international students, prepare, select and award overseas foundation programs, and build stable overseas admission cooperation channels. 7.Promote cooperation with national ministries and local & mining enterprises, and develop various long-term and short-term national high-end international talent training programs. 8.Expand global partners, establish long-term friendly strategic partnerships with relevant domestic and foreign enterprises, public institutions and universities, and draft various cooperation agreements. 9.Promote the expansion and cooperation liaison of national-level study-in-China education platforms such as China-Jordan University, Wuhan College of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, ASEAN College, Africa College, the Belt and Road International Geoscience Education and Training Center, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization University. 10.Other tasks assigned by the college. |
International Student Academic Affairs & Training Office | 1.Formulate teaching and student status management regulations for international students in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education, provincial education departments and the university; cooperate with the Graduate School, Undergraduate School and relevant training units to revise professional training programs and teaching plans for international students. 2.Assist training colleges in teaching management and academic affairs for international students. 3.Arrange and manage general education courses, common disciplinary basic courses and full-English professional courses for international degree students, advanced students and some short-term students with separate teaching. 4.Responsible for international student degree registration on CHSI, cooperate with the university's Degree Office in degree registration for international students; supervise teaching order and evaluate teaching quality for international students. 5.Establish and maintain student status files for international students, handle procedures such as major change, suspension, transfer, withdrawal, graduation and completion qualification review, and issue transcripts and graduation/completion certificates. 6.Budget teaching funds for international students, calculate teaching workload, and distribute instructor fees and class fees for teachers. 7.Undertake teaching tasks of public Chinese courses, Chinese culture, Overview of China, HSK tests for international students, as well as teaching for language students, non-degree students and various short-term programs. 8.Conduct pre-college education teaching for international undergraduate students admitted to China as required by the Ministry of Education. 9.Responsible for the planning, organization, implementation and learning support services of training programs at the Belt and Road Center and study-abroad training programs; carry out the construction, maintenance and management of training program resources, and promote the application of new technologies and methods in modern education. 10.Other tasks assigned by the college. |
