The evaluation meeting of “Demonstration of deep processes and integrated detection technologies for the formation of rare metal deposits” of the National High-tech R&D Program was held on September 27 in Beijing. After presentation, questioning, and discussion, the project was evaluated as excellent.

The reviewers were from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Geological Survey, CUG (Beijing), Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Peking University, and East China University of Technology. Over 30 people from CUG, including Prof. JIANG Shaoyong, Chief Scientist of the project, 5 leading researchers, and staff, attended the meeting.
