It systematically teaches key terminology and academic expressions for general geology, helping students overcome language barriers and lay a solid linguistic foundation for advanced professional courses.

Target students

International students with HSK 4+ Chinese proficiency, interested in majors like geology, environmental science, and resource exploration.

Course content

The course covers four core modules with practical application:

1.Specialized Terminology: In-depth teaching of fundamental geological terms (e.g., rock cycle, plate tectonics, mineral identification).

2.Literature Reading: Building skills to read basic geological literature and interpret professional diagrams/charts.

3.Written Expression: Guiding standardized writing of academic texts (lab reports, research abstracts) in geological Chinese.
