Dear CSC scholarship students,
According to the relevant regulations of China Scholarship Council (CSC) and China University of Geosciences (CUG), the Academic Year 2026 international students’ annual review is about to start. All the CSC scholarship students must participate in this annual review and will be reviewed from compliance with rules and regulations, academic performance, and participation in activities. Only those who pass the annual review will have the qualification to continue their study in the next academic year. Please take it seriously. Related items on the annual review are as follows:
Ⅰ. Review Object
(1) Students who will continue to benefit from the Chinese Government Scholarship after September 2026
(2) Students who should graduate in July 2026 as planned, but plan to apply for study extension and meet the extension requirements
(3) Students who were disqualified in the 2025 Chinese Government Scholarship assessment and are applying for reinstatement of the scholarship
Ⅱ. Review Content
(1) This annual review work will be conducted based on the compliance with rules and regulations, academic performance, and participation in activities, with a total of 100 points.
(2) The evaluation opinions are divided into two types: qualified and unqualified. Those with a total score of 60 or above will be regarded as qualified. For those students who fail to meet the qualifications for Chinese government scholarships, the State Scholarship Council will suspend or cancel their scholarships. For unqualified non-Chinese government scholarship students, the school will cancel their study qualification.

CUG attaches great importance to the annual assessment of international students. According to the different learning categories, training methods and training objectives of students, four types of assessment methods have been introduced, namely, the annual assessment methods for preparatory students, undergraduates, Chinese language students and graduate students. Ⅳ. Steps of Annual Review
Log in to the Chinese Government Scholarship Study in China Management Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) through CSC number, enter the “Annual review of Scholarships”, and then fill in the “Questionnaire for Assessment of Chinese Government Scholarships”, complete the self-assessment information and upload additional materials, and then click submit before April 24, 2026 , 24:00 Beijing Time.
Please note:
1. The student self-assessment form consists of three parts: compliance with rules and regulations, academic performance, and participation in activities. Please carefully fill in your information, each part should not exceed 1,000 words. (Chinese-taught students must fill in Chinese, while English-taught students can fill in English)
2. Attached materials (if any) include transcripts of this academic year, scanned copies of various award certificates, and other supporting materials.
3. This is an online review, no need to submit paper materials.
4. Students who fail to participate in the annual review within the specified time without a valid reason will be disqualified from the scholarship.
Annual Review System Operation Guide
STEP 1:Log in to the website, https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/, and choose your preferred language.

STEP 2:Enter your CSC registration number, password, and verification code, and click the "Login" button.

STEP 3:Select “Annual Review of Scholarship”

STEP 4:Enter the self-assessment page, fill in the required information, and upload supplementary materials (e.g. academic transcripts, award certificates). Please complete the "Chinese Government Scholarship Institution Evaluation Questionnaire" before the review.

STEP 5:Check the terms of commitment, and click submit after filling and uploading your documents.

After submitting, your page should be as below:

1.If you forget your password when logging in to the system, click "Forgot Password", enter the email address you used for registration, verification code, and retrieve your password.


If you fail to retrieve the password several times, please contact your tutor before April 20 and tutor will contact with Joyce during working time (9:00-16:00) and teacher will reset your password.
2.International students must ensure the authenticity of the materials submitted. Those who provide fictitious materials will be disqualified from studying at CUG, and the scholarship qualification will be terminated at the same time.
