On September 9, 2015,under the witness of President Xi Jinping and Jordan's King Abdullah ii, China and Jordan jointly signed the protocol of “the framework agreement between Ministry of Education of P.R.C and Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan.
China University of Geosciences was authorized by Chinese government to cooperate with Ministry of higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan on the construction of joint higher education institute: “Sino-Jordan University”.
