The establishment of Wuhan Institute of China-SCO Geosciences Cooperation Research Center is motivated against the background of steering the “Belt and Road” Initiative and promoting the cooperation among SCO members, which turns out to be a significant measure taken in line with the synergy innovation driven by both the industry and universities as well as the overall interests of national development. The Wuhan Institute will serve the national development strategy and coordination of foreign relations, tailoring the urgent needs from the development of China-SCO Geosciences Cooperation Research Center.
